Palazzo pants are making its appearance in almost every trendy fashion store I know. And I'm not mad at it! If you don't know palazzo pants are extremely wide leg pants and are usually high waist. This style became popular in the 1960's and 70's at pretty much went out of style at the start of the 21st century. But of course as we all know by now, trends come back around and this one is having its moment.

I instantly gravitated towards this style but to my dismay I am too short for 99.9% of these pants. But not too long ago I found these black ones and another pair in a really cute pink at...you'll never guess where??? DD's Discounts!!!! I know right, I was just as shook as you are. And while they were still too long for me, they weren't nearly as long as most of them are. The were perfectly fine while wearing heels, but while wearing flats the were dragging on the floor. So of course to fix that problem I just took them to the cleaners to get hemmed so that I can wear them with heels or flats.

I am also all about comfort and versatility and these are exactly that. The pleats in these pants make them easy to dress up or down. The material is thin, light, airy and stretchy so they are very comfortable. I wore these pants two days later for a funeral with flat sandals, and I wore the pink ones the same week to a wedding. Can you say versatile!?! These are also ideal for my plus size ladies. If you are anything like me you DO NOT want you stomach pouch showing. These pants are great for covering that up and even snatching that waist in a little bit. Oh and for all my short girls (I'm 5 feet tall) these pants actually make you look like you have long legs.
